    2. This is the first book by this author that I have read and after reading Fifty Shades of Roxie Brown I will certainly be reading more of her books.Being a big lover of reading myself I could totally relate to Roxie Brown. She quite often wanders off in her own world which, as she loves her erotica novels the main one she keeps dreaming about is the Fifty Shades books. There's not room for the two main characters from the books in her head though as it is very much filled up with herself and her [...]

    3. Wow can this author get any better I ask myself whilst fighting to keep my eyes open to read just one more chapter. After forcing myself to read about a third of the first book of the series of a certain erotica book(haha Mills & Boon mixed with trash in my eyes) I couldn't help myself but read Lynda Renham's much much better 50 Shades of Roxie Brown. Oh my goodness I laughed out loud, cringed with her, comfort ate with her and spent way too many hours fighting sleep as I had to read one more [...]

    4. very time I pick up a book by Lynda Renham I know that I will get a quirky, fun, and easy read. Fifty Shades of Roxie Brown is no exception. I could not get enough of Roxie. I knew she was off on what she saw and how she was going about solving the “murder” yet I was not exactly sure what she did see. Her friends, Sylvie and Felix, were hilarious. They fed into her paranoia of who the murderer was and kept me in stitches laughing at their antics. With every move they made I was waiting for t [...]

    10. Fifty Shades Of Roxie Brown Author Lynda Renham. Also Writes As Amy Perfect.I started reading Fifty Shades Of Roxie Brown after Linda very kindly gifted me her book. I couldn’t wait to start reading this book late last night. It’s the curse of having a reading addition I think. ;) But I so wasn’t disappointed. I don’t think I have laughed so much at some scenes in a book as I did this one. Roxie, Felix and Sylvie were wonderful and rather funny character. I loved their closeness and the [...]

    11. Firstly, when you see the covers of any of Lynda’s romantic comedy novels they instantly make you smile as they are quirky, bright, fun covers. This is exactly what you get in Lynda’s stories. I was so excited to hear from Lynda that she had a new novel due out, the title of the book amused me and the synopsis sounded like such fun.Roxie Brown is a chambermaid for a big hotel chain owned by Ark Morgan. Roxie has a bit of a fatuation with a certain erotica book and also her boss, Ark. Her day [...]

    12. First off, if you want some serious reading with a hidden meaning and some serious fiction to make to evaluate things (why would you but each to their own) then this book won’t be for you. If you want something funny, ridiculous, entertaining and downright pleasurable then this may tick the boxes. It is pure escapism with a big fat capital E!Roxie Brown is absolutely wonderful. She’s a normal girl, doing a mundane job as a Chambermaid but it pays the bills. Her layabout boyfriend Darren is a [...]

    13. Roxie Brown is a chambermaid, working for a large hotel. She is something of a dreamer and has cast her boss, Ark Morgan, into the role of her very own Christian Grey. Unfortunately she is stuck with Arsenal fan and all-time loser, Darren. But everything changes when Roxie is witness to a murder in a flat opposite her own. She enlists her two friends, Sylvie and Felix, to help her find the murderer. Add to the mix two handsome men: the aforementioned Ark Morgan and his business rival Sam Lockwood [...]

    14. An entertaining rom com about a group of friends investigating a murder that Roxie Brown witnessed. I did feel like slapping them all and telling them to go to the police many times. I hoped it wasn't really a murder, or they were all contaminating all the evidence and putting themselves in danger. After I reminded myself several times that I was reading a work of fiction and this wasn't really happening, I was able to relax and just go with the flow. I enjoyed the tension between Roxie and the [...]

    15. Another fab book that had me laughing throughout . Roxie is a cleaner and stuck in a but of a rut until one night when everything changes, which leads to some very funny activities. Roxie is a character who you immediately identify and fall in love with. She has a major crush on her boss whom she sees as her very own real life Mr Grey. This story was different to what I expected and it was hilarious I couldn't put it down

    17. a nice readI thought the overall story was ok. I didn't think it was as funny as some of the others I've read. the characters were a bit over the top. I think I was a little bored because the theme of the story was too similar to the previous books.

    18. This is the second book I've read by this author. Think CSI meets Keystone Cops (detectives). It was very entertaining and a quick feel good read. I like soft mysteries (no serial killers to keep me up at night), so it was a perfect fit for me.
