    1. A very good summary of 12 contemporary philosophers. Each chapter is written by a different author, but the text is very uniform and clear throughout, showing an excellent work by the editors. I have learned a great deal from this book, although some particular subjects were not of my direct interest, and some others were a little difficult to understand (that is not a fault of the book).     2. I hoped for the wider variety of personalities in this book. The 12 philosophers present similar schools of thought and are much alike.
